Performs electrical safety testing and functional verification to ensure devices are safe for clinical use. Supports medical device lifecycle management. Maintains accurate records using the Equipment Management System and complies with the Quality Management System. Provides technical advice and support to clinical and nursing staff. Investigates equipment failures and contributes to risk management, patient safety and incident investigations. Works closely with clinical teams, manufacturers and suppliers. Participate in on-call and emergency support for critical medical devices. Supports service improvement initiatives, training activities and the implementation of new technologies. ### Main duties of the job Advanced fault-finding and repair of medical equipment. Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics, microprocessors, pneumatics and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and prioritise workload. Strong communication skills with clinical and technical staff.
