The teams provide inpatient care of patients pre- and post-surgery and to help facilitate discharges. The teams also follow patients up in outpatient settings and support via telephone. We are looking for a dynamic nurse who has an interest in limb reconstruction with experience in trauma & orthopaedics or ortho-plastics surgery. The service provides care for adult patients mostly based at the QE but provide education and support to other hospitals. This post is for 22.5 hours per week. ### Main duties of the job Applicants must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable. Requirement includes post registration with experience in a relevant speciality. The role of the Specialist Nurse includes working autonomously and as part of the wider MDT to manage a caseload of patients and support patients during their recovery, from pre to post op care and to help facilitate safe and efficient discharges.
