The permanent role is 30 hours per week and the fixed term/secondment role is 37.5 hours per week. You will work within the Treatment Planning, Tomotherapy, brachytherapy and mould room areas (as required) as part of a team or independently, providing a highly specialist clinical and technical service. You will be responsible, together with physicists and other members of the planning group, for preparing and checking treatment plans for patients undergoing radiotherapy. Within the Mould Room, you will have direct contact with patients and work with Doctors and Radiographers to produce individualised immobilisation devices. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will work within the treatment planning, Tomotherapy, brachytherapy and mould room areas (as required) as part of a team or independently, providing a highly specialist clinical and technical service. The post holder will be responsible, together with physicists and other members of the planning group, for preparing and checking treatment plans for patients undergoing radiotherapy.
