Band 5 Staff Nurse – Children & Young Persons Emergency Department

Are you looking for a challenge and excited by working in a fast-paced, dynamic emergency care environment?

We are seeking enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our Children and Young Persons Emergency Department team.

Our department provides care to a diverse patient group, ranging from minor illness presentations within our Urgent Treatment Centre through to major trauma cases within the Southwest London Major Trauma Centre. This offers an excellent opportunity to develop and consolidate a broad range of emergency nursing skills within a supportive and evolving service.

This role is ideally suited to nurses who are keen to develop their career in emergency care and contribute to high-quality, patient-centred services within a busy acute setting.

Please note: this post requires prior post-registration nursing experience in an acute clinical environment and is not suitable for student nurses or newly qualified nurses.

- Delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care to children and young people
- Supporting colleagues to maintain best practice across all areas of care delivery
- Working in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and clinical guidelines
- Promoting the safety and wellbeing of patients, visitors, colleagues, and self within the emergency department
