Cross Site Role, based across Royal Free, Barnet Hospital & Chase Farm Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a crucial role in ensuring cancer care is delivered efficiently and excellently across the Royal Free, Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, within the Royal Free London Hospitals Group (RFL).

As a Group, RFL receives over 50,000 suspected cancer referrals every year, making it one of the largest acute cancer providers in the country. RFL also delivers cancer care across three tertiary tumour sites, taking national and international referrals for expert advice and treatment.

### Main duties of the job

- Responsible for the MDT management of cancer patients for specific tumour sites (including preparation, coordination, documentation, and follow up of administrative actions from the MDT meetings)
- Support the Cancer Management team and the MDT meetings. This includes administrative improvements to facilitate the management plan for patients discussed at the MDT
- Responsible for managing the collation and monitoring for all cancer patients’ pathways for submission to the National Cancer Waiting Times database for specific cancer patients diagnosed at The Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trust and ensuring all appropriate actions are taken to meet National Cancer Waiting Times Targets
- Responsible for managing the collation and monitoring for the Cancer Outcome Services Dataset (COSD) including Staging information for submission to the National Cancer Registry Services (NCRS) for specific cancer patients diagnosed at The Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trust.
- Initiating the collection and analysis of audit data, used to access service development needs and service improvement processes, develop action plans ensuring appropriate outcomes are implemented.

Assist in reviewing relevant cancer waiting lists, expediting patient delays, and escalating
