We are seeking enthusiastic Band 4 Nursing Associates to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team, delivering outstanding emergency care to patients at some of the most critical moments in their healthcare journey.

You'll care for patients with a wide range of urgent and emergency needs, working alongside experienced nurses, doctors and allied health professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment. ### Main duties of the job

- As a Registered Nursing Associate, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to patients throughout their Emergency Department journey. You will work closely with Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to assess, monitor and support patients with a variety of acute illnesses, injuries and emergency conditions. You will undertake a range of clinical skills appropriate to your competence, contribute to the timely assessment and treatment of patients, and help maintain patient flow within the department. The role offers opportunities to develop specialist emergency care skills while supporting patients and their families during often challenging and unpredictable situations. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team. Above all, you'll share our values of compassion, respect and continuous improvement, making a positive difference to the experience of every patient who attends our Emergency Department.

### Job responsibilities

The Registered Nursing Associate (RNA) will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary Emergency Department team, delivering high-quality, safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergency healthcare needs.

The post holder will work within their scope of practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse while exercising accountability for delegated aspects of patient care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.

The Nursing Associate will contribute to patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, ensuring patients receive timely treatment whilst maintaining dignity, privacy and respect.

### Qualifications

- Completion of Foundation Degree Nursing Associate qualification
- Demonstrates a commitment to further learning and personal development
- Evidence of full time education achievements
- GCSE English (grade A-C) or equivalent
- GCSE Maths (grade A-C) or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and/or BTEC/ HND in health and social care.
