### Main duties of the job

We are looking for Lead Administration Officer (Team Leader) to support the work of the London Breast Screening Administration Hub by accurate, efficient and timely execution of essential activities that supports the breast screening pathway, under the direction of the Office and Assistant Service Managers.

To lead on the administration function related to the London Breast Screening Administration HUB and Call Centre including a close collaboration with the London Breast Screening services.

To provide, supervision and training to Senior Administration Officers and Administration Officer’s, associated with the London Breast screening Hub Call Centre.

The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working in a public/patient facing role and have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate would also need to have the ability to use their initiative and be able to problem solve, in a busy environment.

This post does involve working shift patterns including weekends and late evenings to provide operational support to cover the Hub telephone call Centre and admin tasks.

### Skills

- Good understanding of general office working procedures
- Good working knowledge of relevant Microsoft office packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.

- Training skills

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience working in a complex organization with numerous stakeholders
- Experience of undertaking detailed, intensive work in a busy administrative environment
- Experience of using various forms of information technology in work-related activities.
- Experience working in the National Health Service

- Supervisory experience
- Experience working in a Breast Screening Unit

### Qualifications

- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience

- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Key Skills Level 2 in Literacy or equivalent experience
