The fixed-term role available is varied, rewarding and an opportunity to work as part of an MDT alongside psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and psychiatry colleagues. Based in Oldbury, the successful candidate will delivering 1:1, groupwork and systemically informed evidence-based interventions for individuals with learning disabilities and their support networks. They will also be responsible for conducting neuropsychological assessments as part of our Dementia screenings. There are opportunities to get involved in service development projects and we have excellent support for aspiring psychologists, providing regular Trust wide reflective practice and CPD opportunities. You will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist and will also regularly work alongside trainee psychologists on placement. ### Main duties of the job Please see attached job description. - To administer standardised psychological assessment of clients and collect assessment data from a variety of sources. - Responsible for recognising the potential for or signs of client harm, abuse or neglect, including poor clinical practice, reporting all such concerns and taking all reasonable steps to protect the client. Responsible for identifying and reporting concerns regarding the safeguarding of individuals who may be at risk. - Under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, supports the development of psychological formulation and intervention plans for individual clients and/or their carers.
