An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 administrator coordinator to join the Birmingham Community Healthcare Foundation Trust Central & West Therapy Hub based at Moseley hall Hospital. The Therapy Hub is a community based team comprising occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation technicians, rehabilitation assistants and administrative support.

### Main duties of the job

As part of the Therapy Hub Team, the Band 3 Administrator Coordinator will work alongside the existing Administrator, Senior Administrator and Clinical Team Lead in supporting the Team activities.

The C&W Therapy Hub Team is looking for an enthusiastic and well motivated individual to join a busy office and become a member of our friendly service.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a good level of general education with good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and process work accurately.

You will need to be computer literate with a working knowledge of window based computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The post will involve a range of general admin and clerical support including data entry, booking appointments, filing, answering the telephone, receiving referrals and using clinical systems such as RiO, MAPS and e-Procurement.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of diary management/electronic diaries
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Previous NHS/ Healthcare experience of administration and clerical work

**Desirable**

- Experience of Electronic or non-electronic filing systems

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- GCSE Maths Grade C or above or equivalent/or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 3, Diploma or equivalent experience.
- ECDL or equivalent IT qualification

### Skills/Knowledge

**Essential**

- Good written & Verbal communication skills
- Data Input skills
- Ability to handle people in a courteous and sensitive manner
- Understanding & commitment to equal opportunities
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the Data Protection Act

**Desirable**

- Knowlege of clinical IT systems eg: RIO, System 1 etc

### Personal Qualities

**Essential**

- Ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with service users
- Able to multitask, prioritise workload and use own initiative and good time management skills
- Reliable and punctual showing good time management skills
