Oral and Maxillofacial Department are looking for a part time 15hrs per week support secretary. The successful candidate would be welcomed into a busy but friendly department. We would be looking for someone on a part time basis (15hrs) who is able to learn quickly and undertake instructions as necessary. Would you like to join our friendly team, do you have typing experience and a personable and friendly telephone manner? If so please apply

The main duties of the role are typing clinical letters and correspondence, booking appointments and liaising with patients on the telephone as necessary regarding the appointments and therefore a friendly and confident telephone manner would be required.

### Experience

**Essential**

- * Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- * Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
- * Experience of using IT systems

**Desirable**

- * Experience of working in a busy environment
- * Experience of working in Healthcare

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- * Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
- * Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a clerical environment

**Desirable**

- * AMSPAR Certificate/equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge of medical terminology
