### Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join the team as a Band 2 Administrator working 16 hours per week.

The post holder will support the day-to-day administration of the service, ensuring patients are booked appropriately and that data is accurately recorded in line with Trust policies.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.

### Main duties of the job

- To provide administrative support to the clinical team, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the service
- To support patient admissions, discharges and appointment booking processes in line with local procedures
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records across Trust systems
- To ensure timely communication with relevant internal and external teams
- To support the coordination of patient pathways, escalating any issues where appropriate
- To manage general administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry and stock control
- To liaise with clinical staff to ensure information is accurate and processes are followed correctly
- To provide cover and support across the wider service as required in line with service needs

- Knowledge of NHS computer systems (eg CareFlow, Medway)

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and patients
- Demonstrate a good telephone manner and technique

- Good organisational and administrative skills Computer/keyboard skills in MS Word and Excel

- GCSE or equivalent level education

**Desirable**

- Basic IT or administrative training
