You will be working as part of an established Team who provide a full Hotel Services function across the Hospital. Right to Work in the UK This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as the organisation is unable to support sponsorship for this post. ### Main duties of the job Catering - The handling, reheating, and service of cook-freeze meals. Making light snacks including salads, sandwiches and beverages. Washing up and associated cleaning within the ward kitchen and dining room. Cleaning - Cleaning all areas of the Hospital, including bedrooms with en-suite facilities, bathrooms, day rooms, lounges, corridors, offices and other areas of the Ward. Other duties - Handling and disposal of waste, curtain changing and laundering. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Housekeepers support the Nursing Staff to provide an appropriate environment for patient care. Duties will include general cleaning of all Ward/Departmental areas and the preparation and presentation and service of patients' meals and beverages. Housekeepers will be expected to demonstrate a flexible attitude to their work to meet the needs of the ward and the patients.
