Help Shape the Future of Healthcare

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) is seeking an exceptional senior clinical leader to join our Board as an Associate Non-Executive Director.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic leadership, governance and future direction of a major NHS organisation serving communities across West Essex and East Hertfordshire.

We are particularly interested in individuals with significant experience in nursing, maternity services or an allied health profession, who can bring independent thinking, constructive challenge and sound judgement to Board discussions.

### Main duties of the job

As an Associate Non-Executive Director, you will:

- Provide independent scrutiny, support and challenge to the Trust Board
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and organisational oversight
- Champion quality, patient safety and clinical effectiveness
- Support the development of an inclusive, compassionate and high-performing culture
- Help shape services through partnership working across the wider health and care system
- Ensure the interests of patients, staff and local communities remain at the heart of decision-making

- Previous Non-Executive Director, Associate Non-Executive Director or Board Committee experience.

### Qualifications

- Professional qualification and current or previous registration in Nursing, Midwifery or an Allied Health Profession.

**Desirable**

- Non-Executive Director, Board or corporate governance training.
