Applications are invited from enthusiastic, well-motivated, pre –registration Clinical Scientist.

Must have BSc honours degree in Microbiology (2i or 1st) or equivalent experience as well as good IT and communication skills and experience of molecular techniques.

This is an opportunity to work in newly developed service in NHS Lothian providing sequencing analysis of pathogens for public health interest . This work develops work started during the COVID pandemic. The post would suit an enthusiastic, well organised and highly motivated individual. As part of a team, you will be involved in many highly skilled procedures and specialist testing.

Working hours are 36 per week, which includes flexible working.
