We are recruiting Assistant EMHPs on a fixed-term contract, with opportunity to progress to the Trainee EMHP course (Feb 2027). We will support you through the University of Sheffield interview and, if successful, transition you into a permanent Trainee EMHP role within Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the MindMate Support Team (MHST) in Leeds. As a Band 4 Assistant EMHP, you will work with education settings, health professionals, and families to support young people (up to 18) with their mental health and wellbeing. Under close clinical supervision, you will not hold a caseload.

You will:

- Support delivery of evidence-based wellbeing interventions and resources.
- Promote mental health within schools and community.
- Support inclusive practice and co-production with service users. Assist with assessments, including risk.
- Contribute to whole-school approaches (groups, assemblies, training).
- Attend team meetings and stay updated on service changes.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Represent the team at events where appropriate.
