Are you interested in physiology and all things breathing-related? We are looking for a motivated individual to come and join the respiratory physiology team here at UCLH. If you are interested in looking after patients; have good communication and organisational skills, along with the enthusiasm and drive to improve all aspects of patient care, then you could be just the person we are looking for.

The successful candidate will join the respiratory physiology team performing respiratory and sleep diagnostics across both the UCH and NHNN sites. The main focus of this role is it to help support training and implementation of quality assured diagnostic spirometry within both the NMCCC unit and outpatient environment as well as co-ordination of domiciliary sleep studies across all respiratory physiology services.

### Main duties of the job

- Working knowledge and performance of lung function testing, primarily spirometry and FeNo in the outpatient and inpatient service.
- Responsibility for the domiciliary sleep study service, as well as setup and download of respiratory sleep studies for both inpatients and outpatients.
- To ensure all equipment is calibrated at the appropriate time and maintain good hygiene in both the lung function and sleep labs and troubleshoot technical problems relating to lung function and sleep equipment.
- To provide technical support for any research undertaken within the lung function and sleep departments.
