This post will support psychologically informed care for people with physical health conditions directly such as co-facilitating groups as well as contributing to the indirect work of the service such as through audit and evaluation. The post-holder will have opportunities to work across Adult, Paediatric, Staff Support and Psycho-oncology specialisms, working alongside Psychologists, Psychological Therapists, Trainees, and Multi-Disciplinary Teams. There will be an opportunity to gain clinical experience and develop skills relevant to a career in Clinical Psychology. ### Main duties of the job - To enhance psychologically informed care through supporting service clinicians in their delivery of individual, family and group intervention, under clinical supervision. - Assisting with the administration, scoring, interpretation and feedback of outcome measures. - Support the service model of indirect work by assisting in the development and delivery of teaching, training and consultation with teams and non-psychologically trained practitioners. - Undertake audit, service evaluation and research projects to aid service developments. - Support Patient Engagement developments in the service - The service will be provided across a number of bases in the acute and community setting as well as some home working.
