The team provides a service for adults with a range of complex mental health problems. Psychological therapies provide a range of interventions, including both individual and group based work. In this role you will work as an applied practitioner under clinical supervision of the Clinical Psychologist, contributing to assessment and intervention plans for service users. You will contribute to supporting the wider CMHT through involvement in group work, training workshops, team audits and service development projects. In addition, you will assist in managing waiting lists and maintaining regular contact with people waiting for psychological therapies. For more information on the role, please contact Dr Emma Price (Consultant Clinical Psychologist) on emma.price29@nhs.net ### Main duties of the job To assist in the provision of a psychological service to service users accessing the community mental health team under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. To plan and prioritise of own workload and activities following the direction, guidelines and supervision of the Clinical Psychologist. To undertake assessments and implement programmes of care and psychology intervention, including one to one work with clients, group interventions and psycho-educational workshops under clinical supervision. To work within the guidelines given by the clinical supervisor and assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit/research projects and teaching projects as directed by the Clinical Psychologist. ### About us Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides joined-up mental and physical healthcare for around two million people across our communities.
