## Job Content

### Job overview

We currently have two exciting opportunities to join our Children and Young People's Emotional Wellbeing Service as an Assistant Practitioner.

Our Lincolnshire Emotional Wellbeing Service supports children and young people aged 0-19 who are presenting with emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, which are of a low level of complexity and/or intensity, by offering a variety of evidence-based interventions.

Please note that, as we are currently undergoing service transformation work, this post will be part of a new hybrid team that is bringing together the existing Healthy Minds Lincolnshire (HML) and Mental Health Support Teams (MHST). The name of the hybrid teams/service is to be Healthy Minds Lincolnshire.

This is advertised as full-time post operating Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, however other working patterns can be considered and base can be negotiated.

### Main duties of the job

Our Lincolnshire Emotional Wellbeing Service work with children and young people on a variety of emotional wellbeing needs, including but not limited to: anxiety, low mood, self-harm, self-esteem, and anger.

This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and highly organised individuals with a passion for children and young people’s emotional wellbeing to help shape the Emotional Wellbeing Service. You should be able to travel around this large rural county and able to work flexibly according to the needs of the service. The successful applicant will need to have knowledge and experience of delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

The successful applicant will be expected to be familiar with children’s safeguarding procedures in Lincolnshire and demonstrate good working relationships with other professionals to enable the provision of holistic care to children, young people and their families.

You should possess a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or extensive experience working within mental health/emotional wellbeing services.

There are well-established links between all of the community-based Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services and partner organisations.
