### Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 permanent roles within  the    Surgery finance team.

The roles will suit ambitious finance professionals, who are looking to assist the Division and its Finance Manager in improving financial control, developing financial processes and helping specialities develop their services, whilst providing appropriate financial analysis and support.

Key to delivery of the Divisions’ annual financial plans is the ability to continue to improve efficiency and productivity of services and make ongoing cost improvements. The role will help support the Divisions’ Management and clinical teams in developing initiatives which will help deliver recurring financial balance.

The successful candidate will possess a high level of numeracy and IT skill, a positive, can-do attitude, be able to show initiative and work through problems, possess an enquiring mind and be strong communicators, able to explain financial data to non-finance professionals in an easily understandable way.

The postholder will be responsible for leading projects and pieces of work, as well as assisting in monthly financial reporting and forecasting cycles.

We welcome applications from candidates who will be able to make a positive impact in a complex Division which provides a variety of services to both the local, regional and national population.
