To deliver and maintain a professional administrative service to the Oncology Day Unit within the Cancer Directorate and all users patients, relatives and colleagues.

### Main duties of the job

Direct contact with patients.

Greet visitors face-to-face and respond to requests for a range of information.

Receive and respond to telephone calls dealing with a range of requests.

Receive and respond to emails for a range of requests.

Book appointments and transport.

Check patient information.

Photocopy and filing.

Input information on Trust systems.

Attend handover meetings as required taking notes when necessary.

Ensure all tests/treatments requested are booked.

Cover Saturday shifts on a rotational basis, plus some Bank Holidays.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have:

-       applied for a Graduate visa

-       or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment

This vacancy will close at midnight on 21st June 2026.

Interviews are due to be held on 2nd July 2026.
