Recovery Co-ordinators work to both identify and prevent those who are identified as being ultra high risk of emerging with psychosis in the At Risk Mental State team. The Team aims to provide high quality evidence based care as per NICE guidelines and National EI Access & waiting time standards. Manage risk and work with team colleagues to support service users. The Mission of the ARMS Service is to put people in control of their care, we will maximise opportunities for individuals and their families by enabling them to look beyond their limitations to achieve their goals and aspirations.

### Main duties of the job

The ARMS Recovery-Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating the care of clients with high-level At Risk Mental State (ARMS) within the ARMS Service. This role combines specialist assessments to identify those at ultra high risk of emerging with psychosis in the future with delivering evidence based psychosocial interventions within a primary care setting to prevent/delay emergence of psychosis.  You will be working with a predominantly youth focused population, aged 14 -35 years old to engage them and their families in a pathway that can extend to up to 3 years.

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of psychosis.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of young people’s mental health
- Excellent knowledge and skills in risk management

**Desirable**

- Understanding of Ultra high risk/ At risk mental state.

### Skills/Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working in an acute/community mental health setting
- Competent in leading and prioritising in a busy environment
- Provide care to promote social inclusion

**Desirable**

- Experience of working within young people’s mental wellbeing services
- Experience of working in Substance misuse services
- Experience of working with neuropsychological conditions

### Personal Qualities

**Essential**

- Shares the Trust’s Beliefs and models this in their attitude and behaviour

### Additional Requirements

**Essential**

- Current driving licence

### Education/Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to degree level or equivalent with evidence of further study. Registered with NMC, Social work England or HCPC.
- Mentorship or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of personal and professional development

**Desirable**

- Certificate in a psychotherapeutic/ psychosocial intervention
- Training in use of CAARMS ( Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental State ) assessment tool
- Family Intervention training
