## Job Content

### Job overview

The Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship provides fully funded training, nationally recognised qualification, and a salary while you learn.

After completing the programme, you can register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.

This role suits those interested in science, healthcare, and IT, and who want to make a positive impact.

Training is intensive and requires strong motivation, commitment, and organisation.

You’ll need to complete around 8-10 hours of home study each week alongside your job.

Good communication, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines are essential.

The role includes working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Applicants must meet all apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4–9 / A–C* in English Language, Maths, and Science.

These must be clearly listed on the application form; those who do not meet the criteria will not be shortlisted.

Candidates who already hold a Level 3 (or higher) Pharmacy qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship funding.
