PLEASE NOTE IF THIS VACANCY RECEIVES A HIGH NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS, IT IS SUBJECT TO CLOSING EARLY! ### Main duties of the job As band 6 you are responsible for the coordination of flow and providing high quality care to high acuity patients. you will identify patients requiring review by MDT and those who need transferring. you will liaise closely with A&E, and the Operational Centre and escalate any concerns. As a band 6, you will ensure communication with the clinical lead and the junior doctors are frequent to promote patient flow; also you will be expected to front board round with consultants twice a day. There are opportunity to develop your skills and to empower your team as there are plenty learning opportunities for you to progress. this is a dynamic team who supports their patients, relatives and colleagues and place great emphasis on patient safety and quality of care. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The successful candidate will need to be passionate about providing quality care for every one with varying age and conditions promoting independence; we want staff to make a difference, and become a valued member of our long established team. This role will require a person willing to oversee patient flow, and care for the high acuity patients in AMU's enhanced care bays. There will be opportunities within the role to complete learning to ensure that all our patients receive timely and appropriate care specific to their needs. This role also widens your outlook within the organisation to enhance your learning development and embody the trust values within the team. ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
