An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Amendments Officer (Cancer) to work as part of the Cancer Research Delivery Group (CRDG).

The Amendments Officer (Cancer) is an independent practitioner working within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the co-ordination and implementation of amendments to cancer trials being run through the centre.

### Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Amendments Officer (Cancer) to work as part of the Cancer Research Delivery Group (CRDG). The Centre is:

- Generously funded by a joint initiative between the Department of Health and Cancer Research UK
- Part of a nationwide network of 18 centres of scientific and clinical excellence
- Aims to drive new anti-cancer treatments to patients
- Affiliated with the National cancer Research Network and thus incorporate Phase I through to Phase IV clinical trials

In bringing together laboratory and clinical patient-based research, our Centre promotes the translational work needed to develop new anti-cancer drugs and diagnostics from the laboratory into clinics and test them in early phase clinical trials, and develop them into late phase trials.

The Amendments Officer (Cancer) is an independent practitioner working within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the co-ordination and implementation of Cancer amendments to trials being run through the centre.

The post holder will

- Manage and process cancer study amendments in line with country regulations
- Maintain tracking of process through Excel based trackers and other database systems (EDGE)
- Work closely with supporting departments
- Communicate with Sponsor and internal teams
