This is a responsible role which requires a professional and caring attitude, as well as teamwork. You will work in a team of two, or on your own, undertaking duties in a variety of vehicle types. You need a full UK manual car driving licence, with one years driving experience. (Please note that a maximum of 3 penalty points will be considered for a minor motoring offence only.) Your role with EEAST PTS would start with a 3 week paid training course (Monday – Friday). The training involves clinical training to be a ‘First Person on Scene’ and  patient transport driver training. It is your responsibility to attend in full, and successfully complete the course. The courses are held in Welwyn Garden City. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with Trust policy.
