Are you passionate about driving research forward and looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Research Manager to join our Agile Research Delivery Team in the South West Peninsula (SWP).

This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network (RDN) Portfolio studies across a variety of health and care settings. As Team Manager, you will lead a regionally based, flexible workforce that supports the set-up and delivery of studies across a wide range of specialties and care environments.

Being a regional position we welcome applications from Cornwall, Devon or Somerset as the postholder can be based in any of these locations.

This regional role requires a moderate level of travel across the South West Peninsula.

The post holder will work alongside professionals from multiple organisations involved in health and care research and will play an integral role within the Agile Research Delivery Team. The Team Manager will oversee enhanced study support for social and wider care settings, leading the planning, development and implementation of the NIHR RDN portfolio to reflect community needs.

This is a key leadership role within a dynamic team delivering enhanced study set-up support across wider care settings. Responsibilities will include delegation, supervision, education and support, as well as conducting appraisals.

The successful candidate will work closely with the other Agile Research Delivery Team Managers and will be accountable to the Agile Research Delivery Team Senior Clinical Manager.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday
