### Advice Line Administrator: Part time (22.5 hours)

This role involves providing clerical and telephone support to the Advice Line and PHN services in Stockport. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £41,700 per annum and the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

### Main duties of the job

- To provide telephone and clerical support to the Advice Line and PHN service across Stockport
- To provide a full range of clerical duties to support the clinical teams, including making clinic appointments, processing and filing correspondence
- IT Skills using a range of systems and processes .

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- To provide a full range of clerical duties as directed by the Information and Clerical Support Co-ordinator and advice Line Team Leader using IT skills including spread sheets, word processing, emails, electronic patient record processes, scanning and retrieval of information using a variety of systems.
- To manage telephone calls to the advice line, processing these from professionals and families, directing to the advice line team for response where appropriate.
- General office administration including filing and the management of electronic and paper information
- To work as part of a team and to carry outs tasks set by the line manager or Advice Line Team Leader.
- To have an understanding of GDPR, Patient confidentiality, Risk Management and Health and Safety Procedures and guidelines.
- To manage the generic email box, ensuring appropriate communication response and dissemination and processing of client information
- To advise the HV/SN, Team Leader of any concerns relating to safeguarding of risk to vulnerable adults in line with policy

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary

In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

### Education and Qualifications

- English, Maths GCSE (A-C)/ O'Level or equivalent qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above in a relevant subject - IT/ Administration/ Business

- Relevant administrative qualification eg RSA/ keyboard skills/ ECDL
