We believe people make the real difference, come and join us!

- Are you looking to advance your clinical skills in a GP Practice setting?
- Are you passionate about patient care and want to have an active role in shaping how pharmaceutical care is delivered at cluster level?
- Do you want to lead an enthusiastic and dedicated team?

If so, then a warm welcome awaits. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking advanced pharmacist who is keen to lead a team to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care to patients within Primary Care in Forth Valley. You will be responsible for service delivery at cluster level and have an active role in training other staff as well as being an integral part of the team delivering a much appreciated and well-respected Pharmacotherapy Service.

As an essential member of the GP Practice Team, you will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with a range of clinical and nonclinical personnel and patients. You will be required to work clinically autonomously being responsible for your clinical decisions, including where there is risk, clinical uncertainty and minimal evidence base. You will either be an active independent prescriber or be working towards this qualification. You will have strong leadership skills and have a commitment to supporting the development of others within your team. You will have experience of service development and have a strong desire to deliver quality services across a GP cluster. Previous primary care experience is desirable.

Integration is a key aim of the Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team, and you will liaise closely with hospital and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care. We are committed to continuing professional development (CPD) at all levels within a supportive environment. You will be expected to engage in the RPS Core Advanced framework demonstrating competence in the five domains of practice, in addition to supporting colleagues with their learning and development.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk

Availability on Mondays and/or Fridays is desirable due to current service needs, though not essential. Minimum 18 hours (2.5 days) per week.
