Please see below for detailed job description of the role. ### Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for a qualified advanced practitioner mammographer to join our multi-professional team at Princess Anne Hospital Breast Unit in Southampton. This post is a part-time 12 month contract to cover maternity leave .Additional hours may be available on NHSP . The service delivers both primary breast screening and symptomatic mammography. The breast unit is fully digital with three mammography units, with two tomosynthesis systems. In addition we have three mobile units to provide primary screening to our catchment area. We welcome candidates with proven vacuum assisted biopsy experience to apply. The postholder will work alongside the Breast Consultant Radiologists, Advance Practitioners, mammographers and assistant practitioners to provide a Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service to patients, providing specialist clinical opinion and diagnosis for patient centred care. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see attached files to see the detailed Job description and person specification.
