An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Podiatrist to join our established specialist podiatry service within Trafford Local Care Organisation which is part of Manchester NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking a clinician with substantial experience in the assessment and management of patients with complex high-risk foot pathology, particularly those presenting with diabetic foot complications, peripheral arterial disease, neuropathy, and lower limb wounds. This role is integral to supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care aimed at reducing avoidable admissions and lower limb amputations, while improving patient outcomes and patient experience for the people of Trafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to further develop advanced practice and clinical leadership skills within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and will be committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care as part of a dedicated and collaborative team.

As a key member of the integrated High Risk Podiatry Team, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and leadership to support podiatry colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective and responsive delivery of High Risk Foot services across both community and outpatient hospital settings.

They will implement, evaluate and modify highly complex care/interventions which they have developed to meet those needs.

To provide advanced holistic assessment and develop highly specialist programmes of care for a significant clinical caseload. Making autonomous clinical decisions in line with best practice.

To provide clinical leadership relating to the “high risk foot” to ensure the safe delivery of the day to day provision of the podiatry service delivered across both community and hospital settings.

To act as a source of expertise, and provide specialist support and mentorship across the service, wider multidisciplinary team and students. To work collaboratively and promote Multidisciplinary working.

To work closely with the Service Lead and Senior Podiatrists to provide a seamless integrated High Risk Podiatry Service to the population of Trafford, by supporting service development, clinical audit and Quality improvement initiatives.

- Holds Full/clean UK driving license
- Has use of car for business use

### Experience

- Relevant Post Grad Experience in NHS
- Significant Experience of HR patients - managing complex HR caseload
- Evidence of MDT Working
