### Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join UHDB in a newly created role. Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist passionate about improving care for people living with HIV and promoting the safe, effective use of antimicrobials? UHDB is seeking two Advanced Pharmacists – HIV and Antimicrobials to lead and develop our specialist HIV pharmacy service.

You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary HIV team, working with consultants in genitourinary medicine, sexual health and microbiology, specialist nurses, pharmacists and wider clinical colleagues to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will provide advanced clinical leadership for HIV medicines and support antimicrobial stewardship across the Trust. You will undertake pharmacist-led reviews and independent prescribing within an agreed scope, using established multidisciplinary processes to strengthen treatment continuity and medicines safety.

- Participate actively in HIV MDT meetings, contribute to treatment decisions, document agreed outcomes and provide pharmaceutical assurance on the safe, effective and best-value use of ART.
