This part-time post has become available due to a funding restructure. The successful applicant will have experience in Uro-Oncology or Urology and be familiar with Renal cancer pathways. The successful applicant will work both autonomously and within the Renal cancer clinics to deliver care and should have completed or be undertaking training in advanced clinical practice. Experience in systemic and immunotherapies is desirable however training will be provided. Non-medical prescribing qualification is essential.    The successfully candidate will be undertaking nurse led clinics and working within a well established and supportive multi disciplinary team.   You should have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner, be able to prioritise and organise your workload and work under pressure. You will be expected to work across our Sutton and Chelsea sites, with occasional visits to our Cavendish Square site. ### Main duties of the job The post holder has a distinct level of responsibility to patients with urological and oncological issues including urology cancers and associated problems in providing a comprehensive specialist nursing service to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, working within a team of advanced practice nurses. The post holder will work in conjunction with the existing Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialists. The ANP is an experienced registered nurse that uses advanced assessment and diagnostic skills in the management of patients diagnosed with urological cancers. The post holder will also independently provide ongoing care and treatment. This will include advanced clinical assessment, planning and initiating care and treatment, monitoring of disease progression and efficacy of treatment and the proactive management of treatment and disease related side effects. The ANP will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists, as well as the Healthcare Support Workers within the team to ensure that patients receive a seamless patient journey.
