Shape the future of urgent care. We are recruiting Advanced Practitioners to join our new Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), opening in Autumn 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop a modern, patient-centred service from the ground up. As one of our founding clinicians, you will deliver high-quality autonomous care, influence service development and help create an outstanding experience for patients and colleagues. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose, treat and safely discharge or refer patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries. Using advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning and decision-making skills, you will provide safe, effective and evidence-based care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. We are seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners from nursing, paramedic, pharmacy or allied health professional backgrounds who are passionate about urgent and unscheduled care. You must be registered with the relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC or equivalent) and hold, or be working towards, a Master's qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will demonstrate autonomous practice, advanced clinical reasoning, leadership and a commitment to continuous learning, service improvement and compassionate, person-centred care. An independent prescribing qualification is desirable. ### Main duties of the job As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work with a high degree of autonomy whilst contributing to the leadership, education, research and quality improvement agendas that underpin advanced clinical practice.
