### Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to come and join our Gynaecology ACP team, as part of Saint Mary's  managed clinical service. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice essential, and experience in women's health is desirable.

The vacant role is to work within our Gynaecology division (across our Four sites).  You will work closely with our medical and nursing teams to provide a  person centered approach to care.

Working pattern is generally Monday-Friday hours, with protected non-clinical time.

The role will involve reviewing patients with a wide range of Gynaecology presentations. The ACP will autonomously assess the patient, request investigations and form management plans.

The role will be varied and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clinicians and nursing team within various gynaecology sub-specialities and Emergency Gynaecology Care .

### Skills

**Essential**

- Able to demonstrate care which reflects evidence based practice
- Able to prioritise workload, achieving a balance between clinical and other aspects of role
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Basic IT skills
- Good presentation skills

**Desirable**

- Able to manage high pressured situations

### Experience

**Essential**

- Substantial post registration experience. leadership experience at band 7 or above
- Experience in the management and evaluation of change
- Evidence of commitment to personal professional development and that of others
- Evidence of involvement in implementation of research / evidence based practice
- Working as an independent practitioner

**Desirable**

- Experience of working within women’s health

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Current registration with the NMC (RN Adult, RN Child or RM)
- Independent non- medical prescriber
- Teaching and assessing in clinical practice qualification or equivalent experience

**Desirable**

- Evidence of recent CPD
