You will have substantial clinical experience, a strong understanding of advanced radiotherapy techniques, & the ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities. The role is primarily based at the OUH Radiotherapy Centre in Milton Keynes, with regular cross-site working at our Oxford centre. This provides excellent opportunities for professional development & collaboration within the wider radiotherapy team. You will support the Milton Keynes pre-treatment & treatment teams as required, helping to deliver a seamless patient experience. OUH Radiotherapy@Milton Keynes reflects Oxford University Hospitals’ commitment to providing high-quality cancer care closer to home. The centre is equipped with a Siemens CT Simulator & Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, with planned future service expansion. Approx. 60% of radiotherapy patients from Milton Keynes are treated locally, while those requiring specialist treatments, like SRS, receive care at our Oxford centre, offering the opportunity to work within a satellite service while remaining connected to a leading regional cancer centre. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an ambitious and forward-thinking service while supporting patients. ### Main duties of the job In this patient-facing role, you will act as an expert resource for radiotherapy-specific information and support, helping patients navigate their treatment and access holistic care, including appropriate referrals to specialist services. You will also be responsible for conducting radiotherapy treatment reviews.
