We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Home First Team (Discharge to Access – D2A) based in Tamworth.

In this position, you will provide confidential and effective administrative support to the Home First Team. You will need strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise the demands of a busy team. There may be a requirement for you to travel between Trust locations in the Staffordshire area as well as other locations as required by the service.

### Main duties of the job

As administrator, you will be expected to work independently, showing initiative and a willingness to support colleagues as an integral member of the team.

As part of this role, you will be required to:

- Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines to fulfil the requirements of the role, working with others to deliver a high‑quality and seamless service.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive and challenging situations.
- Attend meetings, transcribe and distribute minutes, book venues and arrange hospitality as required.
- Be confident and knowledgeable in the use of computers, Microsoft office and IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines, taking action and alerting nurses/management if concerned about any aspect of patient care.
- Support and assist the Team Leader in recruitment and induction of new staff and associated duties

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Relevant secretarial experience as Team Secretary/Administrator
- Good standard of general education including GCSE English & Maths
- Previous experience of data input

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working within the NHS or care based setting
- Relevant experience of working in an office environment
- Experience of using RiO or a patient clinical system or database systems
