### Job summary

We are looking for two part time Administrator to join our dedicated 0 - 19 Public Health Nursing team, which includes Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Health Practitioners and School Health Support Workers.

Post 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (22.5 hours)

Post 2 Thursday and Friday (15 hours)

Working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate, with shifts to be completed between 8am and 5pm.

These are permanent posts to be based at Catshill Clinic, where free staff parking is available. Full induction and training will be provided.

As part of our administrative team, you will support the Bromsgrove locality on a daily basis, with occasional remote support for other localities across the county. You will be joining a service that prides itself on delivering outstanding care to children, young people and families across Worcestershire.

### Main duties of the job

Day to day work will include managing a generic mailbox, processing statutory and health notifications, data inputting, collating information, updating patient records on Rio, dealing with telephone calls and other tasks as set out in the job description. Applicants will be expected to have good interpersonal and IT skills and be willing to learn and develop within the team.

The role is busy and varied and requires the post holder to have a flexible approach and a calm, professional manner. The ability to work accurately whilst multi-tasking is essential. A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Knowledge of office procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Recent, relevant Administrative/Secretarial experience (usually demonstrated by a minimum of 2 years experience)

**Desirable**

- Previous relevant NHS experience.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to academic Level 3 (e.g.: A-Level, NVQ3, OCR/RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business/ Administration related subject or Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post.
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
