Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly recognise the importance of Improving Access to Psychological Therapy for our community, and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is investing substantially in our Talking Therapies service to improve care.

This is a really exciting time to join the team as we grow and develop to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.

We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to contribute to the delivery of a trailblazing Talking Therapies service within our referrals/administration team.

### Main duties of the job

The team is a dedicated administrative support team to enable the efficient and effective function of the Talking Therapies service.

This role will provide general day to day administrative support for various key functions in the service.  Previous experience working in a busy office and the ability to multitask are essential criteria together with the ability to work well under pressure and to work unsupervised using your initiative.

### Skills and Aptitude

**Essential**

- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong interpersonal skills including influencing and persuasion skills
- Good keyboard skills with high levels of accuracy for data entry

### Knowledge and abilities

**Essential**

- Ability to interpret and summarise information, producing reports
- Demonstrable ability to use a range of software packages and the internet
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation

### Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience

**Essential**

- Level 3 qualification in administration or equivalent level of experience
- Good basic education, demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy
- Administration experience within a busy office environment
- Experience in setting up and maintaining admin databases and filing systems

**Desirable**

- Previous NHS experience
