An opportunity has arisen for a  for a part-time Band 2 Administrative Support Officer based in the Reception area at Hope Farm Clinic, Ellesmere Port on a fixed term 12 month contract working within a team providing an effective and efficient Reception and Admin Support Service .  The postholder will be required to  provide administrative/reception support at different locations as/when needed.

Part time - 14 hours per week (Monday/Tuesday - (8.30 am - 4.30 pm)

The post holder will contribute towards a confidential and efficient reception and administration service communicating with patients, staff  and visitors to the site in person as well as over the telephone.

The role is varied and combines reception duties with administrative support, including answering the appointment line for the Dressing Clinic, managing self referrals and making appointments,

The post holder will be expected to be able to follow instructions, prioritise their work and demonstrate initiative in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.

The role of admin support officer provides an invaluable service to our premises supporting all clinical and non clinical teams.

### Main duties of the job

To be the first point of contact and support for patients, staff and visitors, some of whom may be distressed.

Responsibilities will also include; electronic patient record management (using EMIS), scanning, printing, uploading, managing patient self referrals via dedicated telephone appointment line, prescriptions, patient queries booking/amending clinic appointments, as well as general day to day admin/reception duties.
