We are looking for a full-time Administrative Coordinator within the Rheumatology Nurse Specialist Team to provide administrative support for the Rheumatology Nursing Team.

### Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly team at Chapel Allerton Hospital. The successful post-holder must be highly motivated have a flexible approach, be reliable, have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The post holder must also be able to communicate with patients and their relatives as well as members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will work in a non-facing patient role alongside the Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist team, providing efficient non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of homecare prescription management services for the Rheumatology Service at Chapel Allerton Hospital Excellent computer skills are essential and knowledge of hospital systems would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate. ### Role-Specific Requirements

- The post holder will work in a non-facing patient role alongside the Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist nursing team, providing efficient clinical and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of homecare prescription management services for the Rheumatology Service at Chapel Allerton Hospital.
- Co-ordinate received prescription requests from individual homecare providers following local standard operating procedure.
- Generate electronic prescription in accordance to last consultation.
- Arrange follow up appointment in accordance to local pathways.
- Arrange blood monitoring.
- Answer queries from the rheumatology advice line within the limits of their role and liaising with CNS team.
- Co-ordinate answering queries from the rheumatology prescription management email account, liaising with CNS team where necessary.
- Inform homecare provider of changes / discontinuation to treatment when directed by a member of the CNS team following standard operating procedure, liaising with patients over the telephone.
- Support data collection and data entry for audit purposes of prescription management.
- Attendance of service review meetings and carry out any actions identified.
- Assist with patient complaints alongside CNS team.
- Work in collaboration with pharmacy team to provide a positive, safe and effective service.
