### Job summary

We are preparing for a busy seasonal vaccination programme and need an administrative assistant to support us on a Bank basis. Training will be given in week commencing 28th September(this time will be paid) ready for our first clinic on Monday 5th October.

The role will primarily involve sitting with a clinician who will be giving the vaccinations and updating the patient clinical records

### Main duties of the job

a. Update patient records regarding winter season vaccinations in real time (ie sitting with the clinician and updating records in the appointment)

b. Answer calls on the vaccination line and book appointments following the relevant SOP

c. Support clinicians and patients by bringing patients through to the clinical areas from the waiting room

d. Telephone eligible patients to invite them to attend an appointment for their seasonal vaccinations

### Job responsibilities

The following are the core responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant (Vaccination Programme). There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

- A good standard of education with an expectation of having both GCSE Maths and English at Grade C (Level 4) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
- DBS Certificate issued within the last 12 months
