### Please note that this post is under a fixed term contract until 23.8.27.

### Please note that the majority of the daily tasks involve handling incoming calls from members of the general public into CTAC, which accounts for approximately 80% of the workload. The role includes acting as a first point of contact for patients, managing appointment bookings, rescheduling and cancellations in a timely and professional manner. The post holder will inform patients about available services, offer appropriate guidance and advice, and respond to queries while following standard operating procedures, approved scripts, and using available FAQs and guidance documents to determine the most appropriate response. They will also manage email enquiries using template responses and ensure all replies are completed within the timescales defined by the service’s SLAs.

AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application—but your answers must be your own.

- Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically.
- Use AI wisely: It’s fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don’t let it write your answers.
- Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI-generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.

Tip: Think of AI as a helper, not a substitute. We want to understand you—not an AI tool.
