### Job overview

Working with the Community Nursing administration team supporting the Treatment rooms, you’ll help keep services running smoothly so patients and healthcare professionals receive timely support and information. The role is an important part of the Integrated Nursing and Conditions Service, providing a wide range of administrative support that helps ensure people can access the care they need. You’ll work closely with colleagues, patients, carers and partner organisations, contributing to a responsive and efficient service

### Main duties of the job

What you’ll do:

- Manage correspondence, records and electronic systems while maintaining confidentiality
- Organise tasks, diaries, meetings and documentation to support day-to-day service delivery
- Update patient information, produce reports and ensure data is recorded accurately
- Work collaboratively across the wider administration team, providing cover and support when needed

What we’re looking for:

- A qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Experience in a busy office or customer-focused environment
- Good organisational, communication and time management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and administration systems
- A team-focused approach, with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately

## Person Specification

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Level 2 in Word Processing and Text Production

### Knowledge and Experience

**Essential**

- Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administration procedures
- Knowledge of a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience of working in an office environment and carrying out general officer procedures
- Previous experience of supervising a team
- Previous experience of working with general public

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of other Microsoft packages
- Experience of SystmOne functions
- Previous NHS experience
