Are you looking for a career opportunity that provides new skills, knowledge, and experiences? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join the Humber Early Intervention and Prevention Service. The team provides administrative support for the Hull and East Riding Mental Health Support Teams and the Children’s Well-being Practitioners Team.

The post holder will provide administrative support to clinical teams and support services in line with standard administrative procedures and will contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team.

There will be a requirement to provide a service between 8.30am and 5.00pm over a five-day period, Monday to Friday, to meet the needs of children and young people and service delivery.

You may also be required to provide occasional administrative support to other parts of the wider 0–19 Service within Humber to cover sickness absence, annual leave, and other service requirements.

### Main duties of the job

To support the engagement of children, young people and families who access the service

To identify and resolve team data quality issues

To provide administrative support to clinical teams/support services within standard administrative procedures and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team

To be the first point of contact for families and professionals contacting the service by telephone

To take and record information in relation to referrals and process these following Trust and service procedures

To support data collection

To support wider team with delegated administrative tasks

To induct and support less experienced staff

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
- Experience of using a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of inputting data into databases to maintain records

**Desirable**

- Maintaining the quality and integrity of data in Trust IT systems
- Working knowledge of mental health, learning disabilities and autism services
- Experience of event support

### Skills and Competencies

**Essential**

- Able to demonstrate inter-personal communication skills
- Able to plan and prioritise effectively
- Have a flexible approach to workload and enjoy working in a busy team.
- Ability to demonstrate ethical values and attitudes within a culture of equality and diversity
- Ability to commute between the various sites

**Desirable**

- Supervision Skills

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
- ‘A’ Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning OR demonstrable experience within A&C field at Advanced level
- Basic knowledge of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism Programme

**Desirable**

- Working towards Diploma level of knowledge e.g AMSPAR
