### Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 4 Admin Supervisor to join the East Community Mental Health Team. The role will mainly focus on providing administrative support to clinical teams, facilitating their work and ensuring smooth operations. Line management of administrative staff, including performance management, training, and development. Allocating tasks and workload effectively within the team, taking into account individual skills and capacity.

Establishing and maintaining efficient administrative processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

This is a front facing role and would be required to work with the team at Bitterne Park Medical Centre. You will need to be able to remain calm in a busy and dynamic environment, you will also need to use your initiative to formulate and implement solutions where needed.

### Main duties of the job

This is an exciting and challenging role for a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate good leadership and organisation skills, be friendly and flexible in their approach, be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.

You will need to work accurately to deadlines, sometimes under pressure, use your own initiative, and be able to prioritize workloads, addressing administrative issues and finding solutions to ensure smooth operations.

You will provide a range of administrative functions, be responsible for identifying areas for improvement in administrative processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

To provide cover for administration staff within the Team and to support the wider administration service with cross cover arrangements as and when required.

The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills, have a good knowledge and understanding of IT systems, managing data and information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- NVQ Level 3 in Administration, BTEC or equivalent level knowledge.
