Are you an experienced administrator looking for a role where you can make a real difference?

We are looking for an Admin Manager to join The Lifetime Service, supporting our Community Children’s Nursing and Psychology teams who work with children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Based at Kingswood Hub, this part-time role will provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for the administrative function. You will manage and support the administrative team, oversee daily operations and identify ways to improve systems and processes, ensuring our clinicians have the high-quality administrative support they need to deliver safe, effective and responsive care.

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in a specialist service supporting children, young people and their families.

### Main duties of the job

As the Admin Manager, you will provide senior administrative leadership for the Lifetime service, ensuring effective systems, processes and coordination across the team. You will support the clinical leads to ensure safe and effective care is delivered to the Lifetime service children, young people and their families.

You will play a key role in managing information, supporting service performance and ensuring administrative processes are efficient, responsive and well coordinated.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and coordinating administrative systems and processes across the service
- Supporting operational and clinical leads with service delivery and organisation
- Managing data flow, reporting and performance monitoring
- Coordinating training sessions, meetings and service activities
- Acting as a key point of contact for families, schools and partner organisations
- Maintaining accurate records and managing information in line with organisational standards
- Supporting clear communication and efficient service processes across the team
- Upholding confidentiality, safeguarding procedures and professional standards

### Qualifications and Training Required

**Essential**

- Qualification/courses taken in first line management/supervising/administration, which will include recruitment and selection and professional development of colleagues – or equivalent experience
- NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent working experience
- Educated to GCSE A – C in English and Mathematics

### Skills, Experience and Knowledge Required

**Essential**

- Effective leadership skills with the ability to promote effective team working across the clinical and admin teams
- Report writing skills
- Ability to implement and develop admin and IT systems.
- Influencing and negotiating skills when proposing/implementing new systems/processes
- Ability to manipulate, monitor and extract data/activity, producing information reports in meaningful manner
- An understanding of children's complex needs

**Desirable**

- Change management skills
- Excellent minute taking skills
- To have an understanding and awareness of the impact of change within an organisation and staff.
- Experience achieving, delivering and analysing data to meet Performance Targets
