### Job summary

Do you enjoy working within a busy office or reception environment, where no two days are the same?

We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our team in our Richmond unit for 22 hours per week on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A full shift pattern and salary details can be found in the further information section below.

You'll work as part of the team in carrying out administration tasks in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about BPAS services.

About You

You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

### Main duties of the job

- Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues, as necessary.
- Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
- Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
- Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and reports.

We are also looking for:

- Experience of dealing face to face with patients who may be upset, within a care environment.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone, and reception duties.
- Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and is an effective team player.

- English and Maths qualification either GCSE A to C or Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE 4* or NVQ level 2
