The post holder will be a prescriber for initiation, titration and ongoing management of ADHD treatment ### Main duties of the job To provide comprehensive expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of Adults with ADHD across the RDASH localities.  Review with others the assessment and monitoring of adults identified with ADHD. Provide direct nursing judgement and treatment interventions based on skills and knowledge regarding clinical management and educational management of adults with ADHD. Exercise Independent prescribing rights using guidelines and protocols Ensure that the patient’s interests are fully considered within the context of care, actively participating in ethical decision making within the multi-disciplinary team. Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge of patients. To undertake risk assessments and risk management for individuals and their families. To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to ADHD. To provide high quality support and advice to health and other professionals To supervise the implementation and monitoring of new developments in ADHD. To promote and co-ordinate the implementation of shared care arrangements.
