ADHD Administrator (Bank)

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated ADHD Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff, engaging in daily, direct interactions with patients, their families, and visitors.

The post holder will support the effective administration of the ADHD backlog work - including managing referrals, coordinating clinics, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting delivery against waiting time and activity targets across boroughs.

To work closely with the Lead MDT Coordinator & Administration Manager to provide an efficient and responsive administrative provision to the ADHD team ensuring service delivery is met.

To be responsible for taking ownership and contributing to the development of administration systems for the ADHD Service; by providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to Consultants and doctors within the ADHD team.

### Main duties of the job

To provide an effective administrative service to the Consultants and clinical staff within the ADHD Service. This will include providing administrative and pathway support for the London Adult ADHD Backlog Project, working closely with Tower Hamlets and City and Hackney ADHD services and the central Going Further Going Together team.

To work closely with the Lead Administrators to provide an efficient and responsive administrative provision to the teams ensuring service delivery is met.

To be responsible for taking ownership and contributing to the development of administration systems for the Service; by providing day to day administrative support.

The post requires the ability to work on own initiative and to liaise effectively with a broad range of professionals and to maintain client confidentiality.

To work alongside and to cover all Administrative areas, when required and requested and to cover other administration staff across several locations as and when the need arises.

To cover reception and other community teams  as a core part of your responsibility .

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Working as part of an administrative team for a minimum of two year
- Able to demonstrate 1 year of working in an office environment
- Experience of working independently and using own initiative
- Experience of working in a culturally diverse inner city area
- Experience of working on reception and directly with the public

**Desirable**

- Experience in health/education or social service environment
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Supervisory experience

### Knowledge and Skills

**Essential**

- Proven IT Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritise the workload, plan and organise own time effectively

- An understanding of office procedures.

**Desirable**

- Understanding of community/social services environments

### Education/ Qualification/ Training

**Essential**

- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Good standard of written and spoken English

**Desirable**

- NVQ Level 1 or above.
